Engr. Dr. John Akwaji is the Founder and owner of JAVI GROUP.

With over twenty-five years in Aviation experience and 30 years experience in Electrical Engineering.

He is:

(1) Managing Director and CEO of JAVI CONSULT LTD; A Cooperate affairs commission registered Engineering Company.

(2) MD/CEO of JAVI AVIATION SUPPORT SERVICES LIMITED LTD (JASS)
Which is into Aircraft Ground handlings, Aircraft Logistics, Aircraft leasing, and comprehensive ground handling services to local and international airlines, cooperate Organizations and individuals. Financing, Aircraft Acquisitions, Aviation Management and Consultancy for Cooperate Organizations, Business owners and Start ups companies.

JASS possess the following licences awarded by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as follow;
A. JAVI AVIATION AGENT FOR FOREIGN AIRLINES
B. PERMIT FOR NON-COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS (PNCF) : A license to operate non-commercial flights within and outside Nigeria
C. AIRLINE OPERATING PERMIT (AOP). A license to operate non-scheduled passenger and cargo air services within and outside Nigeria

(3) MD/CEO of JAVI AVIATION TRAINING SCHOOL LTD
A Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) approved and licenced Aviation Training Organization (ATO) in Nigeria, which provides Quality, and international standard Aviation curricular trainings for aviation staff and intending aviation professionals.

(4) MD/CEO JAVI TRAVELS AND CARGO SERVICES LTD
Which is into travels and tours and also cargo services and freights within and outside Nigeria.

Dr. John Akwaji is an Alumnus of the Prestigious Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts USA.

He is a well seasoned and accomplished aviation professional with over twenty (20) years experience in Engineering and Aviation management.

He has a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi State and obtained his Doctorate in: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING at COMMON WEALTH UNIVERSITY UNITED KINGDOM.

He is a trained and certified International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Instructor, acquired at the ICAO Headquarters, Montreal, Canada.

He has also obtained an Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate and Licensed at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Florida, United States of America. He further attended and received a certificate as an International Instructor at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy, Oklahoma City, USA.

Dr. John also possesses various certifications within and outside Nigeria, some of which are;

1. A Certified Member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
2. A Certified member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
3. A Fellow, International Professional Managers Association (FPMA), United Kingdom,

A Certified and License Aircraft Flight Dispatcher at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at Flight Safety International, LaGuardia New York, and Florida state USA respectively.

He has worked in several Engineering companies.

He has also worked in several Airlines such as :

Dasab Airlines as a member of the flight crew.

Aero contractors Airline as a Ground operations officer, Operations Manger Abuja station and then Station manager Abuja, FCT

He further worked in Air Nigeria airline(VIRGIN NIGERIA AIRLINE) in the ground Operation department.

He was the first Flight Dispatch Instructor for Landover Aviation training school.

As part of his numerous achievements, He is the First man in Nigeria to redesign and remodel the Flight Dispatch Training Program and Curriculum which was approved by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in the year 2010 and which is a template being used by other training schools in Nigeria.

Dr. john Akwaji became the Accountable Manager/COO and Director of Operations Kings Airlines in 2011.
